The xf-02 hall velocimeter is based on the determination of the fluidity of metallic powders by gb1482-2010-t standard funnel method (hall velocimeter is made in place of the gb1479-84 and gb1482-84 standard specifications[Brass oxidizes easily and stainless steel wears well]
This method is only applicable to powder that can freely flow through a standard funnel with an aperture of 2.5mm or 5.0mm.Other parts of this standard specify a method for the determination of powder loose density that does not pass through a standard funnel with an aperture of 5.0mm.
How it works: the powder falls freely from the hole in the funnel to fill the cup.In the loose packing state, the loose packing density of the powder is expressed by the mass of the powder per unit volume.This standard is equivalent to ISO 3923/1 — 1979[Determination of loose packing density of metal powder Part 1 funnel method]

1.funnel: Standard funnel hole diameter d has two specifications,One is 2.5 mm in diameter,One is 5.0 mm in diameter
remark:The diameter of the funnel is 2.5mm to measure the flow rate of the powder The funnel diameter is 5.0mm to test the powder loose density

3.Cylindrical cup:Volume25±0.05 cm3,Neijing:31±1mm.
4.The making of cups and funnels:Cups and funnels shall be made of non-magnetic corrosion-resistant metal with sufficient wall thickness and hardness to prevent deformation and excessive wear, usually made of brass or stainless steel.The inner surface of the funnel and cup should be carefully polished.
5.Support and base:The bracket is used to hold the funnel in place.The base must be horizontal, stable and vibration-free for mounting bracket and cup.The distance between the bottom of the funnel hole and the top of the cup is 25mm, which can be adjusted by positioning block. The funnel and the cup must be concentric.
6.balance(user-supplied):Have adequate range of measurements,Samples can be weighed up to 0.01g.
